Concept Note: Climate Conclave

 

1. Introduction

Reflective Teens, a youth-led organization, is launching the Climate Convergence initiative, a multi-stage platform to empower young people and ensure their voices are heard on critical climate issues. The Climate Conclave is the second stage, a one-day event focusing on open dialogue and collaboration between the youth across the country, representatives, experts, and stakeholders.

2. Event Overview

The Climate Conclave will be a 6-hour event (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) designed to:

  • Broadly discuss four pressing climate and youth issues:

    • Youth Action for Climate Change

    • Climate Change & Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

    • Green Entrepreneurship for Climate Solutions

    • Climate Disruption and Education

  • Facilitate meaningful dialogue: Each topic will be explored through a panel discussion featuring experts and youth representatives.

  • Provide edutainment: Interactive activities and creative presentations will engage participants and raise awareness on climate issues.

  • Inspire action: Keynote speakers will address the urgency of climate action and empower youth engagement.
